This is from last semester, pictorial foundation. It was one of our experimental portfolio projects, centered around the topic of 13. In the paragraph we had to illustrate it mentioned briefly something about Loki, so I looked up some stuff on him ( aka crapped out and used wikipedia.) and ended up doing this piece. Its large, so I couldn't scan. (Which is why I've never bothered to upload it until now.) Forgive the photograph.
c: Art, N. Stuhl 2008 PS: I actually put some of my anatomy work in my blog if anyone is interested. Tomorrow I'll hopefully update it with more things like this, once I find my plastic portfolio that contains my smaller pieces.8C Anyway, plug : [link] |

"It wasn't due to the popularity of X-Men, but rather to cash in on the belief that all anime is porn. And that's why we decided to call it 'Samurai X'"
This looks amazing man! The anatomy is amazing & even though you're learning all of these new techniques or ways to illustrate, you still haven't lost touch with your style

It's really hard to find sober friends anymore.
I am in awe of all the fur detail in his clothing, it really looks thick and warm, and so appropriate for a character of Norse mythology.
All of the outift is impressive! Such a wooshy cape <3
I love his face and horns too. I find it so difficult to make non-pretty boys, and you just have this knack for making your men LOOK like men. Aesthetically pleasing, but not made out of porceline.
As Mitsy says, great job on the knotwork too, I would never have the patience!
